July/August 2004 Education Publishers Honor HEL
On June 8, the Harvard Education Letter received the Distinguished Achievement Award in the Learned Article category at the 2004 Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) Awards in Alexandria, Virginia. The AEP, founded in 1895, is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in education publishing.
The winning article,
"Can Educators and Researchers Really Work Together to Improve Learning?" by HEL Editor Michael Sadowski, profiles the effort to start a national Strategic Education Research Partnership among education researchers and school-based practitioners. It was the cover story of our November/December 2003 issue. |
